Tupperware India Pvt. Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the US based Tupperware Brands Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of high quality plastic food storage and serving containers. Tupperware started its operations in 1996 in India and has been growing steadily over the last decade.

The Tupperware Party Plan method of selling is a unique and extremely successful model of selling adopted by Tupperware. Through this unique selling method, Tupperware has recorded remarkable acceptance and success in India. To date, more than 100 products (from Tupperware’s International range) have been introduced in the Indian market and they are available across the country. The product mix comprises of Dry Storage, Food Preparation, Food Serving, Refrigeration and Freezer Range as well as some specifically designed products to suit the needs of Indian homes. The product offerings are such that it caters to the entire family needs.

A global Company with local emphasis, Tupperware has focused on the needs of the Indian consumer and their kitchen requirements. Some of the custom designed products introduced are Multi Cook, a versatile microwavable product adapted to suit Indian Cuisine and Multi Masala, a modern version of the traditional spice keepers.

Internship Description:

The intern at Tupperware India will work on one of the following products:
Corporate Social Responsibility: Tupperware India has recently partnered with Literacy India, an NGO to work for empowering underprivileged rural women in Gurgaon. A full fledged video report on the progress thus far and the areas of focus, is required take this project to bigger heights. This intern will be supervised by the Marketing Manager.

Tupperware is a ‘young’ brand in India and yet we don’t attract young sales force into the business. The result, we don’t end up selling to the young. The focus of this project is how we can attract young urban women into the Tupperware business opportunities. Evaluate, experiment with and outline various cost-effective platforms to reach, excite and motivate young ladies into the business. The interns will be supervised by the National Sales Manager.

Marketing: T-Life, the member magazine of Tupperware was launched two years ago, but has yet to see explosive growth. The intern will under take a marketing project to answer the question: What kind of Direct Marketing actions can be initiated to increase the membership base of T-Life? She will be supervised by the Marketing Manager.
